We are looking to add a Buyer/Designer to our growing team in Dallas, TX. In this role you will be responsible for selecting and purchasing all items to furnish our customer’s apartments. The successful candidate will have experience in purchasing, negotiation, and have a keen eye for design, always having your finger on the pulse of industry trends.

Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with vendors and suppliers
  • Examine, select, and order items at the most favorable prices consistent with quality and specification requirements
  • Negotiate prices, discount terms and transportation arrangements for all inventory
  • Analyze and monitor sales records, trends and economic conditions to anticipate customer buying patterns to determine what inventory is needed
  • Develop custom interior design plans for customers
  • Design customer’s interior spaces to be functional, safe, and esthetically beautiful by determining space requirements and selecting decorative items, such as colors, lighting and furnishings
  • Manage multiple projects concurrently

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of experience in a Buyer/Designer role
  • Expert experience in negotiating with vendors
  • Strong analytical skills, as you will be working with multiple vendors to determine the best deals based on price, quality, and speed of service
  • Industry knowledge or furniture, finishes, materials, color selection, and specifications
  • Impeccable attention to detail
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Bachelor’s degree in Design or a related field

We are looking to add a Handyman Installer to our growing team in Dallas, TX. In this role you will be responsible for moving, assembling, installing, and mounting all items to furnish our customer’s apartments. The successful candidate will be a general fix-it specialist who can use problem-solving and technical skills to solve residential installation problems. Also key are advanced knowledge of general hardware tools, a strong attention detail, and the ability complete any tasks to the highest standard.

Responsibilities:
  • Assemble, prepare, and install household furnishings and décor including artwork and paint
  • Follow interior plans and bring layouts to life
  • Perform basic apartment repair and restoration including drywall repairs
  • Mount televisions and perform installation and removal of other household technology
  • Manage warehouse workspace and maintain tools, supplies, and other general equipment

Qualifications:
  • 3-5 years of handyman or related experience
  • Excellent facility with common hand and power tools
  • Familiarity with apartment unit layouts and infrastructures
  • Knowledge in many aspects of repair & maintenance work
  • Ability to read, write, and follow written and oral instructions
  • Able to work occasional overtime and other shifts
  • Must be a team player and treat co-workers with respect
  • Willingness to uphold company standards for safety, tenant service and efficiently
  • High school diploma or GED preferred
